December 12, 2016

Services

Ranger Drilling are continuing with our management systems improvements further to our AS/NZS 4801 Safety Management Systems certification in February. We have scheduled audits for our Quality, Environmental and Asset management systems, with an aim to have these certified by July 2017.

ISO 5501 Asset Management Systems (Stage 1 Audit 28 February 2017)

ISO 55001 is a framework for an asset management system to proactively manage the lifecycle of our assets, from acquisition to decommission, with the following benefits:

  • Reduces risks associated with ownership of assets – anything from unnecessary maintenance costs and inefficiency to accident prevention
  • Improves quality assurance for customers – Ranger’s assets play a key role in the provision and quality of our products and services
  • Our clients gain confidence from the knowledge that a strategy is in place to ensure our assets meet the necessary safety and performance requirements
  • Supports business growth by demonstrating that the requirements of an internationally recognised asset management system are being met

ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems – (Stage 2 certification audit 13 – 17 March 2017)

ISO 9001 is designed to:

  • Improve efficiency, reduce waste, and save money
  • Improve the consistency of our operations
  • Describe, understand, and communicate company processes
  • Increase customer satisfaction with our products
  • Meet internal, customer and regulatory requirements

ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems – (Stage 2 certification audit 13 – 17 March 17)

ISO 14001 provides better management control that can result in:

  • Reducing environmental impacts
  • A reduction in waste
  • Consumption of resources
  • Operating costs

The standards are all complementary of each other in improving safety, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency with a large amount of their requirements already in place and functioning.
